CPS Exercise - Tactical Problem

Continued from an exercise using CPS.

1. How long and where will that fire behavior continue?
2. There are 3 crews on the fireline making a direct attack. The lines are not holding rolling material and need constant surveillance and work.
3. Describe how long this tactic is appropriate.
4. Find the track where the fire has high potential for the afternoon hours.
5. Write your direction you would give for this situation.
   

• The fire has been steadily backing overnight with 1-foot flame lengths.
• Fuel is mixed brush and some scattered pine timber.
• Some of the brush is under-burned and the canopy is intact.
• The weather is warm and dry.
